Team documentation

General

Team owners and admins manage team-wide secret settings, subscription, branding and other settings.

Members contribute to a shared monthly limit with their created secrets but cannot access each other's sensitive information.

New members are welcomed through email invitations, with the added convenience of copying the invitation link once the email has been sent.

Members

Team members are displayed under Team > Manage team > Members, where their names, email addresses, roles, and monthly usage are listed. From this page, members can also be removed.

The total number of allowable team members is determined by the current subscription plan.

Roles

Team members can have one of the following roles:

  • Owner: Has access to all team settings and users. Can be managed by other team owners.
  • Admin: Has access to team settings and can manage users but cannot manage other admins or owners.
  • User: Does not have any access to team settings or the ability to manage users.

Invitations

Invite new team members via Team > Manage team > Invitations by entering their email and clicking 'Invite'. Upon sending, an email with a link to create an account and join the team is dispatched, and this link, expiring in 24 hours, can also be copied for direct sharing.

To resend an invitation, it must first be deleted from the invite list, then reissued.

Team name

Initially the owner's name is used as the team name. To change the name, go to Team > Manage team > General.

Team settings

The following settings and customizations for the team can be configured at Team > Manage team > Settings:

  • Anonymous secrets on custom domain front page: Allow anonymous users to create new secrets on your custom domain front page instead of redirecting it to the login page.
  • Redirect login page to SSO login: Instead of showing the login page, redirect the user directly to your SSO login.
  • Disable API keys for users: Disable the creation of API keys and hide the menu item for team users.
  • Disable Secret Requests for users: Disable the creation of Secret Requests and hide the menu item for team users.
  • Disable Secure Chats for users: Disable the creation of Secure Chats and hide the menu item for team users.
  • Hide plan on dashboard for users: Hide the plan information on the dashboard page for team users.
  • Custom support information: Replace the default support information on the user dashboard with custom content.
